Welcome to your eighth week at the Curda IT Cafe.

We are moving to the midpoint of the semester and now that you have turned in your first 2 article analyses we are now on a downward slide and all of you are doing an excellent job keeping up with the class work.  I have read your feedback submissions for week 6.  The majority of the feedback is positive.  I will continue to maintain the course on this track to the best of my ability. A few mentioned not receiving timely replies from me to email and I will work to improve that.

For those of you who "performed" in the first open mic night your audience was very kind on the comment cards as well as in the posts on their discussion activities.  Kudos were given for personal insights into different topics as well as the excellent web resources provided.

For all you diners, I would like to compliment those of you who support excellent dinner conversation by continuing to read and reply to those who respond to your original post.

The next 2 weeks have many different topics for discussion. I am looking forward to reading your first 2 article analyses that I know everyone has been working on diligently. I am planning some time during this week and next to insure I provide you with individual feedback prior to the second two analyses. With your article analyses feedback, everyone will receive an email with individual feedback from me on his/her status related to class participation up to the midpoint of this semester.

This week we will discuss current issues in performance technology.  Notice that one of your topics this week was chosen as an early bird special.  This means that those posting by midnight on Friday, July 2nd will receive bonus points. Also notice the Soup OR Salad Special.  Two chapters fall under this so you will get to choose which activity you want to complete.
